The Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association is one of the 39 industry-specific professional associations in VDMA and comprises approximately 276 companies at present.
Our association covers manufacturers of packaging machines, meat processing machines, confectionery machines, bakery machines, beverage production machines, dairy machines, fruit and vegetable processing machines, equipment for the production of basic foodstuffs and animal fodder as well as machines and plants for the production of pharmaceutical products and cosmetics.
Corresponding to the industry sectors, the Food Processing and Packaging Machinery association is subdivided into nine groups representing the specific interests of the member companies both target orientated and apt for practical use. Within the professional association the group packaging machinery is the largest subgroup with 111 members, dairy technology the smallest with 27 members.

We inform our members about important future markets for food processing and packaging machinery. With a steady growing portfolio of market analyses and detailed country reports, own studies and statistic data for the foreign trade we offer important news sources for the export business.
Fairs and symposia:
We do not only inform our members in important exhibitions world-wide but also arrange joint participation in international trade fairs abroad and organize specific symposia in interesting markets for our member companies. More over we support the concepts of the internationally leading fairs stages in Germany: interpack, drinktec, IFFA, ACHEMA and iba.
Sales support:
We provide online directory with all production programs of our members, which is updated continuously. Furthermore, we pass inquiries form all over the world on to suitable producers.
Standardization:
We represent the interests of our members in German, European and international standardization groups for food and packaging machinery.
Public relation:
We periodically publish all important news on the German good and packaging machinery industry within international and national specialized media.
